Spreading Happiness, One Bunny at a Time! 🐰💛 Our wonderful P3/4 class took to the streets today, spreading joy for International Day of Happiness! With big smiles and even bigger hearts, they handed out chocolate bunnies, each with a special note of kindness attached. It was amazing to see the surprise and delight on people’s faces—proof that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference! Well done, P3/4! 🌟
Our P3/4 class had a great time celebrating Global Recycling Day by decorating recycling bin lorries with their own creative and eco-friendly designs! 🚛✨ They learned all about the importance of reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling to help protect our planet. Like our story said ‘It’s amazing what humans can do when they try’. Let’s all do our part to keep our world clean and green! 💚♻️
This week, P3/4 had a brilliant trip to the Ulster Museum, Belfast as part of our exciting dinosaur topic! From dinosaur skeletons to fascinating fossils, the children were amazed by the prehistoric wonders on display. They even had the chance to become junior paleontologists, uncovering hidden fossils and learning all about life millions of years ago 🦖 A huge thank you to the museum staff for making our visit so engaging!
As part of Children’s Mental Health Week and National Storytelling Week, P3/4 explored The Colour Monster – a wonderful story that helps us understand and talk about our feelings! 🌈💛 We had great discussions about emotions and even created our own feelings jar to express how we feel. 💙💚💖 Storytelling is a powerful way to support our mental well-being. #bettertogether #ChooseIntegrated
As part of National Storytelling Week and Children's Mental Health Week, our P3/4 class read 'Bernard the Irish Dinosaur' by Belfast author Sarah Gordon. We explored themes of friendship, anxiety, and embracing uniqueness 🦖
